It is a known fact that some hawker stalls in Singapore only operate until the end of lunchtime. Lao Beng found himself at Kebun Baru Food Centre located in Ang Mo Kio at close to 2.30pm.

Most of the stalls were already closed but I was lucky enough to find Hong Heng Beef Noodle Soup and Laksa (宏兴牛肉粉.叻沙) stall still open. (more…)

Johor Bahru Pau/ Tim Sum (新山手工包点) is located in Changi Village so that we need not make our way across the causeway to buy. You can almost always see a long queue for their signature fish soup and patrons sitting at their section are all usually having their delicious fish soup.

Lao Beng visited North Bridge Road Market and Food Centre one morning to try out Zhen Hao Lor Mee (珍好卤面).
